“Life is not about learning how to weather the storm, but rather about learning how to dance in the rain.” This is a quote I live by and through example, hope to help others arrive at the same conclusion. My name is Adrienne Carroll and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. This will be my 6th year teaching as a n IRR teacher. Although this is my 6th year of teaching, this will be my 3rd year here at Dolvin Elementary. I graduated from Fort Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. Through my professional experience, I gained the experience and knowledge of content knowledge, diversity, and technology. As an educator, I continued to educate myself by earning a Master Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2016. In addition to completing my master’s program, I also received my gifted endorsement. Getting my gifted endorsement has given me the opportunity to provide direct instruction to gifted students through advanced content classes and/or cluster group classes. During my career, I attended several conferences and professional development seminars to grow my pedagogy knowledge.
